American Singles is by the measurements currently available to me, probably the third largest american dating service, and I found it easy to use, and just, well, fun. One strangely important factor for me was how easy on the eyes it was. I mean if I'm going to be staring at a site all day, I want it to be nice to look at.

American Singles definitely wins in that art department. It's nice, pretty, and easy to use layout is sure to attract positive members that want to have fun. Inductive reasoning, perhaps, but I've noticed some of that in the members I dated. Another nice feature is how it shows how many members are online at any given time. For instance, at the time of this writing there are 13,598 members online. Quite a number! Depending on where you live that means at the time of writing, anywhere from 100 to 1,000 people could be online relatively close to you. Online! Not just available, but actually using the service at the same time as you. Which means a response could very well be instant! No long waits wondering if you'll get a reply.

All in all, American Singles is fun, easy to be with, and easy to look at. I think the same can be said of it's members!
